Westchester County Recognizes CMCS

The Office of the County Executive Robert Astorino announced that April 18th, 2015 is Proclaimed as Cardinal McCloskey Community Services Recognition Day.

The Proclamation was presented to CMCS at the Annual "Stepping Up for CMCS" Walkathon held at Iona Prep in New Rochelle. The Proclamation summarizes the history of CMCS in serving those in need both within and outside Westchester County. Citing our founding year of 1946, the County Executive’s office notes the work done in "providing programs for abused and neglected children, intervention and support for at-risk families, residential and rehabilitation care for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as early childhood education programs for low income families."

We would like to thank County Executive Astorino and his office for recognizing CMCS as they state "the organization and its dedicated staff, supporters and volunteers are truly deserving of our reverence and appreciation for their unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for others."
