CMCS Marches in both the NYC and White Plains St. Patrick’s Day!

For the first time CMCS marched in both the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Friday, March 17th and in the White Plains St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 11th.

Though the cold at The White Plains Parade may have slowed our pace it did not deter us from marching in the city where we were founded in 1946!

We were also very excited to participate in the NYC Parade as our namesake, John Cardinal McCloskey, was responsible for overseeing the construction of St. Patrick’s Cathedral! (Did you know that he was also the first President of Fordham University?)

We had a great group of staff and CMCS supporters walking side by side up 5th Avenue, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people cheering us on.

NBC gave us great coverage, showing video of us marching and providing a description of John Cardinal McCloskey and the importance of his work.

Please mark your calendars for next year. This was a fantastic day for all involved and we hope you will join us next year as we make this an annual tradition.

Thank you for all your support!
